Loftly ?

I'm running SW 2004 and I'm needing to do allot of things with lofting
weather it's with a solid loft or a surface loft. When I'm in the
middle of lofting two or more drawings together I usually have to right
click and go to show all handles, then I'll start to move them. The
problem I'm having is that most every time I move one, another one is
created in it's place and I don't know how to delete one or more of the
handles? Also it would be cool to know how to make the loft start off
sending the handles straight towards each drawing as I select them in
the tree instead of them usually being twisted all over the place?

Also on the same subject of lofting. I can select the direction of
tangency in only two directions forward or back as far as I can tell
but is there a way to go towards the inside of a drawing or out?

I'm trying to design a wicked submarine and I need a few new tricks to
put in my bag.

Cheers

The handles will line up better if you select similar faces on your sketches, try selecting the sketches directly and see if they line up better. Other that that you can do 3d sketches and manually connet the loft sketches where you want the handles yo go, this eliminates a lot of the floating or created handles as guide curves set teh tone of teh piece teh first guide curve you select will affes the loft profile more, you can change teh prority of the guide curves in teh dialog box using teh up and down arrowsm
. I Also work in 2004 and I do not think that you can delete the handles as they are showing you where surfaces are being created due to geometrical constraints withhin solidworks.

    Good luck!
